Acute Care & Sick Visits

When your child is not feeling well, you want quick and compassionate care you can trust. At Thrive Pediatrics, we offer same-day  visits to diagnose and treat illnesses, ensuring your child gets the relief they need as soon as possible.

What Happens During a Sick Visit?

A sick visit is designed to address sudden or worsening symptoms that require medical attention. During the visit, our experienced pediatricians will:

  • Review your child’s symptoms and medical history
  • Perform a focused physical examination to  evaluate areas of concern
  • Conduct necessary  tests such as flu, strep, RSV,  COVID-19 or urinalysis
  • Provide a diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to your child’s needs

We strive to provide prompt care and help your child recover quickly. If your child is very sick and needs hospitalization, our office can facilitate admission to Corewell Hospital (Dearborn) or Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
